ABOUT NADA
GEORGES KADRI

Nada Georges Kadri was a consultant and leader to corporations and organizations in Lebanon and across the world.

She was also MMKN’s friend and mentor since our founding, as Nada was a staunch believer in education and the youth.

She was strategic in forming our vision, mission and work over the years: she has shaped who MMKN is today.

The Nada Kadri Fund for Education was setup by MMKN NGO to pay tribute to Nada, with the blessing and support of her family, after her untimely passing in the spring of 2020.

The Nada Kadri Fund for Education aims at supporting brilliant students in pursuing their education through financial aid.

The Nada Kadri Fund for Educaiton operates under MMKN NGO’s Education Support Programs, with an oversight from the MMKN Board.

The Fund has paid to date : USD 8,000 & LBP 715,000,000
Beneficiary students to date: 225 students

ABOUT THE NADA KADRI FUND FOR EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The MMKN Nada Kadri Fund for Education Scholarship Program provides academically promising students who show proof of leadership skills, an opportunity for quality education. It welcomes applications from Middle & High School students with limited financial capacity who are sensitive to their communities’ concerns, strong willed and believe that they can make a difference within their communities and promote responsible citizenship among their peers and fellow students. Students benefiting from this program receive comprehensive scholarships required for public schools, partial tuition assistance for private schools and universities, guidance, and skills development and training as they transition from one stage of education to the other all the way till they graduate and are ready to engage within the workforce.


Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria

The MMKN Nada Kadri Fund for Education Scholarship Program is open to Lebanese nationals who fulfill the following criteria:

1.          Attend public schools, or attend private schools
on financial aid scholarships
2.          Show good academic standing
3.          Demonstrate high financial need
4.          Exhibit an interest in civic engagement and
demonstrate responsible citizenship
5.          Be a Lebanese national
